Designed for the Connecticut Architectural Society and the Wadsworth Atheneum sponsored photographic exhibition, “Architecture in Connecticut: A Pictorial History." Within the sub-category of college campuses, I arranged a tailored photography booklet of my alma mater's architectural diversity. Capturing a range of buildings to show how the campus architecture has developed over the years.
This project's objective was to allow the reader to see the beauty of typefaces in an unconventional yet creative form. This book displays hand-created alphabetical & numerical characters that were based off of unique typefaces. They were specifically arranged to look like the glyph from the font that they were based off of.
During my undergrad, I was challenged to create a fictitious brewery and beer package design inspired by a local historical landmark, thus Ticonderoga Brewhouse was born. Fort Ticonderoga, a historic battle site located in the Adirondacks, inspired my Ticonderoga Brewhouse design.
Another package design undertaking from my undergrad years was High Top Coffee Co., a fictitious coffee package design for a client that provides specialty coffee.
Within the design I chose a Wes Anderson inspired color palette, unique illustrations, and a combination of hand lettering & ready-made fonts. Given that the client provides unique specialty coffee, I designed three unconventional roasts inspired by American locations.
For the Pequot Museum, I was tasked to revamp their current museum website. In my redesign I chose to make an immersive user experience site with the target audience being CT's tourism industry.
There are many local brewery websites out there that could use our help with a redesign in order to rise to the level of creativity as unique as their brews; which is how I came to redesign Artisanal Brew Works, a Saratoga microbrewery website. I was able to truly elevate their website from an outdated and cluttered layout, into an ideal and playful user experience site.
This project focused on building a website that would inform both the local community and a broader tourism industry about the beauty and history of Talcott Mountain.
Another website redesign project this time for the client Bike West Hartford. They wanted an engaging, influential, fun, and family-friendly site to bring the community of West Hartford, CT closer together through cycling.
During my undergrad, I had to create a green initiative company, thus "Standing Tree" was born. "Standing Tree" is an educational organization that focuses on deforestation. This project included a custom logo, original headlines, CTAs, and a tailored website.
Through the exploration of the three dimensional visual effects using the program MAYA, I was able to bring my Ticonderoga Brewhouse logo to life.
Using the program MAYA, I was able to create a quaint cabin scene through modeling, texturing, and lighting.
By rendering something as simple as basic shapes, I was able to demonstrate the effect of depth through modeling, texturing, and lighting.
During my time on CCSU's Central Design Team our client, Cross Culture Kombucha, requested marketing materials & social media graphic templates that would adhere to their updated branding. This included templates for Facebook & Instagram posts, stories, and banners.
